Tenacious D

Tenacious D

We spent the weekend in Birmingham, the original reason for this was Tenacious D, performing at the NEC Arena. Jack and Kyle at Birmingham's NEC

The D put on a great show, though their merchandise was on the steep side (so we bought nothing... bring the prices down, lads, you'll sell more!)

All their main songs were present and correct, all strung together with a narrative stemming from a certain Lee person....

The encore contained 'a song for the ladies' <ahem> and my favourite, 'tribute', though Jack Black didn't do the voice of the demon, which was a shame.

If you get a chance to see the D perform, I'd suggest that you take it. They're really very good at what they do... (of course, it's not child-friendly, though!)

This is a tribute to the best post in the world.

This is not the best post in the world, but it's a tribute. I've just bought tickets to go and see 'Tenacious D' when they're on tour in the UK.

Tickets go on general release (through things like ticketmaster) at 9am on the 8th of september.

Could be a giggle.

Soon after we see Tenacious D, it'll be 'Carmen' at the Royal Opera House, then Kylie Minogue.

A concert filled festive season - with a variety of styles represented!
