Brazil and Argentina play a friendly today. So far, so what? However, the question I ask myself is this. Why do two neighbouring South American teams travel to the other side of the world in order to play at the Arsenal stadium?
34 minutes in and Japan, the team that lost to Australia, have gone 1-nil up against Brazil. My goodness. I think that's all I can say.
Brazil are going through regardless, but, what a blow if they lose to Japan!
(Update: It didn't last)
On my screen at the moment, I have the live Japan/Brazil world cup video feed from the BBC website, I also have an ascii version of the croatian game. The closeups are pretty watchable... the wide views, less so, perhaps!
Well done to Ghana.... they get to face Brazil next, I think.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Brazil-Croatia game, there were some really nice bits of footwork. Who'd have thought that the leaders of Brazil's group after one game would be Australia?
