In qualifying for the Grand Prix, Vettel came out on top with pole position, followed by Webber, Alonso, Button, Massa, Rosberg, Schumacher. Hamilton was down in 11th, with Adrian Sutil for Force India in 10th. The race itself was everything Bahrain wasn't. There was actual overtaking - and on the course. Crikey.
Vettel slid out from the lead due to brake failure. Button took the lead and benefitted from a decision to come in a little early to change tyres. Hamilton found himself disadvantaged with the stopping strategy - but that's life. He made his way up the course and was on the tail of the second and third place men who were on worn tyres. He wasn't able to make the pass, though, and went off the track alongside Webber, ultimately coming in sixth place.
Jenson Button won comfortably, with over 12 seconds on Kubica and 14 on Massa. Alonso and Rosberg were next in.
Liuzzi picked up points for Force India, coming in seventh. Barrichello, Webber and Schumacher picked up the remaining points.
