The Men's Team Pursuit result was simply awe inspiring. 3 minutes, 53.3 seconds. This beat their World Record set just yesterday, and they beat the Silver medalists, Denmark, by over 6.5 seconds - indeed, it looked like they could even lap them! The result was 11 seconds faster than the Olympic Record set in Sydney by the British team.
This is particularly impressive given that the Danes were pushing for the World Record in qualifying.
I find watching Team Pursuit quite hypnotic, seeing those four identical bikes flash past, millimetres between them.
That's a second cycling gold for Bradley Wiggins. A phenomenal result.
Tomorrow, it's the Madison.
