Okay, I got this yesterday, but I only plugged it into the computer today. This USB stick was obtained at the ‘Back to Earth’ promo in Berkeley Square.
I took this picture today, and so it’s a valid candidate for my picture of the day for the 9th April, 2009. Not knowing what to do with it (I have other USB keys) -I put it on Ebay (now sold).
Today, I had a ‘Grand Day Out’ in London. I went to the British Museum (which I love), the Tate Modern (which I don’t like, but I like the location), through Mayfair, down the Kings Road to see my friend CJ’s small exhibition, and finished at Lowlander on Drury Lane.
Why go through Mayfair? To promote the new episodes of ‘Red Dwarf’, the first of which is transmitted on Friday, the crew of the mining ship were doing an event in Berkeley Square. They showed up in full costume. They didn’t have a lot of time – I got the sense they’d been pushed from pillar to post all day, and had to go off to the BBC for the six o’clock news – but they had time to pose for lots of photographs – and I had my photo taken with them. There were a couple of idiots passing by who shouted a bit – nobody let that spoil their day.
This is my photo of the day for the 8th April, 2009 – the rest of my Red Dwarf photos are on flickr, as are all my photos for today.
‘Red Dwarf’ is making a return to our screens; starring the original cast of Craig Charles, Chris Barry, Robert Llewellyn and Danny John-Jules. (I know Bob Llewellyn wasn’t first series original, I don’t care. m’kay?)
In this two part story, made especially for the daftly-named ‘Dave’ TV show, the crew finally make it back to Earth.
Filming will begin on the 16th Feb, and it will premier on Friday 10th April at 9pm.
That helpful little button will add a note to your google calendar (you will need to adjust the settings if you want an emailed reminder, and the duration of one hour is pure guesswork)
… and THAT button should add my entire ‘TV reminder’ calendar (UK relevant)
Just to keep in the style of early Red Dwarf intros…
Additional: No, I don’t know which incarnation of ‘Holly’ it’ll be.
