... and today we remember the 486

The next generation after the 386 was the 486, so it seems apt to honour that today, 4/8/6 The 486 was the heart of my first PC, before that I had been a Commodore user, from the days of the Vic20 (with cassette deck and 3.5k RAM), skipping the Commodore 64 and straight through to the Amiga 500 (when a second floppy disk was luxury, and it booted from floppy).

(The Amiga was the machine responsible for rendering B5).

Is Commodore still going?
