Guardian: Blunkett Blogs

Over on the new 'Comment is Free' website run by the Guardian, David Blunkett has a posting account. He says that:

'Yet when Jack Dromey discovered his "latent anger", he was doing more than display his own pique at not having been told. After all, it was the Ides of March!'

This rather misses the point that the chap was supposed to have the role of treasurer and was not told about some 14 million quid going through the system.

The comments on the post, to date, are not terribly supportive.

He also equates 'party politics' with 'democracy' - rather missing the point that the two are not synonymous (and that we don't have democracies, we have elected representatives, but that's a distinction it's not worth dwelling on now).
