It was current when the theme was submitted. The original concept was to add themes until there is a rotation of 24. Then edit those 24 with the seasons. Unfortunately, there is no way (currently) to specify within the theme - that I know of - that a certain theme is only to be used in certain months. That's something I'd want to do. I don't know about igoogle gadgets, however, you can add an RSS feed to your homepage (bottom of left column in 'add stuff'). I've just added Yehuda using this facility.
