Save Parliament – Link code

Save Parliament: Legislative and Regulatory Reform Bill (and other issues)Now that a graphic has been prepared for the Save Parliament website, here is the link code if you’d like a graphic:

<a href="http://www.saveparliament.org.uk"
title="Save Parliament: Legislative and
Regulatory Reform Bill (and other issues)"
><img
src="http://www.saveparliament.org.uk/images/sp_logo_menu.png"
width="80" height="150"
alt="Save Parliament: Legislative and
Regulatory Reform Bill (and other issues)"
/></a>

Link to it far and wide! Please think about how you can include it on your website if you have one – even if it’s just in one post. If you don’t have a website, then you could add the website address to a signature.

    Thanks for posting that; I’ll be adding that code to the site this evening as well. There are some more banner-like graphics in the pipeline as well, shouldn’t be more than a day or two until they are available as well.

    I just realised I said “as well” 3 times in 2 sentences. A sign of high quality writing, for sure. :)

    See my LJ for LJ icon that can be used in support of the campaign (hope it’s OK?)

    (Edit: The site maintainer (not me) can’t see your LJ… I’ve made a copy here: http://www.murky.org/images/artelaparliament.jpg )

    Murk, code incomplete; you need a title tag as well to get the pop up text on standards complaint browsers; repeat the alt text into the anchor but call it title.

    Very nice though, I approve. Especially like Artala’s LJ icon, I’ll have to find something to not use for a bit..

    (Edit: Pedantically it’s compliant re: xhtml etc – but not for the wider ‘access’ criteria, i.e. screen readers. I shall make the change – Murk).
