For today’s daily photo, I chose this picture of Monica with a small hat on her nose.
Why?
It is representative of today as I we went to see Wasps vs. Quins. It was a close match – Wasps took an early lead, but the second half was not as good and Quins began to come back. I almost chose a picture of Ian McGeechan taken in the dying moments of the game as Quins, albeit in their own half, seemed to have the bulk of possession with only a converted try separating them from victory.
Instead, I chose this picture. You might ask yourself what is going on here. Well, before Christmas in Sainsbury’s, Innocent Smoothies had little hats on all the bottles. It was some sort of promotion thing, every bottle with a hat sent 50p to Age Concern. Monica had a cold nose, and I had a mini-hat left in my bag from a smoothie I bought a month ago ….
So, the picture represents today due to the cold noses.
