Happy Palindrome Day!

2nd January 2010 was a palindrome day in the US, where they write their dates in the odd order, mm/dd/yyyy, in the rest of the world we pick a more rational order (going from least to most significant). That makes today 01/02/2010 – and it’s palindrome day!

Of course, the most rational way to display the date (using our current calendar system) would be most to least significant, as per ISO-8601, 2010-02-01 – which makes 2nd January the correct date for palindrome day.
