I’ve discovered a nice little site called ‘sell a band‘ - as recommended on userfriendly’s LOTD

The concept is that you can buy shares in a band, when $50000 is raised, they get to cut an album, the punter gets a copy of the album for each ‘part’ which they purchased (one part is worth $10). Also, copies of the album are available to sell and each partner gets a percentage of that.

Even if the artist doesn’t take off from the site, $10 for an album isn’t bad at all….

My first investment is in an artist from Poland called Julia Marcell, my second is Bim, and my third is Lucia Imam. Hmm, a pattern emerges.
